Hey there,
So long story short, I have had agoraphobia and social anxiety for three years and have improved with counseling and medication. However one of the big issues that remains is - when I have to leave the house for a class or exam I need to go to the bathroom a lot up until I leave (very loose bowels). I use meditation and overall I don't feel too panicked but my stomach reacts big time, no matter if it is a normal class or a final exam. I have my final exams coming up, it is making me panic big time as I can't be rushing to the bathroom throughout. I don't usually need to go that much when I'm out but my stomach is uncomfortable and noisy due to the upset.
What would you guys recommend? Any foods or medication that have helped you? Thanks!

I don't have an answer of medication or technique. But if nothing works, you could just do your best while using the bathroom as you need to.

Perhaps if you felt comfortable with some of the teachers you could even ask for help, tell then you're not feeling well and may have to exit frequently.

But whatever happens, I hope someday you think back and say, I am so glad I don't have to deal with exams along with bathroom trouble ever again!

Painkillers like codeine and morphine will help by "clogging" you up but that's probably not the answer. Have you spoken to a doctor about it?
