Another one of my favorite things is classic literature (except for anything Jane Austen, blech). I remember reading Charlotte Gilman's "Yellow Wallpaper" in a Lit. class in college, but I didn't really think much of it at the time. I decided to revisit it on a whim this morning and I am ashamed and thrilled both to find it incredibly relatable.
The questions I pose are these: Do you find yourself relating to the protagonist of the story? If so, how? How do you think her husband handled her decline? What other factors that she was exposed to do you think could trigger anxiety from you?

I would love to chime in right out the gate but I won't just yet. All I will say is I am glad the treatment and awareness of anxiety and anxiety related disorders has come a long way since this was written.

Story found here. It's not an obnoxiously long read, I promise. http://www.publicbookshelf.com/romance/wallpaper/
