Does anyone get extreme paranoia, irrational fears, or day terrors from anxiety?

Can you give some examples?

Paranoid about dying, going crazy, turning schizo, losing your mind, irrational fears of seeing bad images, being afraid of everything?

I've been going through what you described for 8 days, from the moment I wake up until I sleep.

Irritational fears are pretty much one of the main things that my anxiety inflicts on me. That's why I have phobias.

Where does this come from?

Sorry for not replying yet. So you mean "paranoid" in a loose way.. As in, not technical paranoia where you actually believe delusional things.

I used to be terrified of going crazy. That's pretty much gone away though with age and experience. I've realised now that if I was going to go crazy I most likely would have by now. It's very common with anxiety but the thing is, anxiety and things like schizophrenia are worlds apart. I knew a schizophrenic guy (hospitalised involuntarily sometimes) and he didn't have much anxiety at all! You think if you're anxious enough it will send you over the edge into psychosis. I've never actually heard of that happening.
