Hey guys my name is Robbie, I am a 29 year old male suffering from anxiety that can often become severe. I hate to sound tragic but I have little or no support from my family, friends, or doctor. My doctor has misdiagnosed me as bi-polar because I made the mistake of telling him I get angry sometimes (don't we all get angry at times?) and I guess the diagnosis of bi-polar is en vogue for men my age. He says my anxiety is actually racing manic thoughts (utter B.S.) I came here to maybe find someone to talk to, who will understand me and not accuse me of being melodramatic as my friend does.

If you think your doctor's diagnoses is incorrect, get a second opinion. I was lucky enough to have my doctor, who also suffers anxiety and depression; he's a good guy.
