No work today, as i work on call. I am scheduled tomorrow and Friday. But really, today with the day off and all, I couldn't even get myself to drive to Wal-Mart and p/u a few of my diet menu items. I am NOT sure if I forgot to take my Bupropion rx this morning, but my energy is very low today. I just vacuumed the garage and entire house, did the dishes, gave the cat a baby diaper cloth bath. Now, when i have time for myself I cant get myself to just get into my car and go to the darn store. So I am just planning to go for walk/gym after early dinner and then muster up my energy for tomorrow and the next day's work.
I switched from Slim-Quick to Relacore OTC Diet supplement and i have no idea how Relacore is supposed to induce energy, and prevent noon fatigue. I know with my other OTC diet remedy that there was caffeine in the ingredients and that is how i had energy and at lunch, main problem too, if i forgot 2 then i would practically collapse w/o my lunch time dose of caffeine.
Now i take aspirin w/ caffeine in it to go w/ my NEW Herbal OTC Diet pill. Otherwise, i don't have the slightest clue as to where the heck the noon energy would come from. I am going back to my old Slim Quick, Sat I will p/u a refill bottle. This is just ludicrous!!!I probably will mix the 2 types of remedies as to NOT waste my very over priced herbal diet pill. Then i shall have the herbal calming effect and the caffeine w/ hoodia stim effect and Not feel guilty about having wasted my herbal diet pill that i just spent $25.00 on last Saturday.
I will decrease my aspirin w/ the caffeine in it and perhaps take 1 at mid morning, since i don't have access to a coffee machine at work. I float to so many schools and never even know where the Teacher's Lounge/Work Room is? Thank God Slim Fast has a great tasting Cappuccino that I drink mid morning if i need the coffee kick.
If I had my own class I would have that lil coffee machine going until the end of my work day. That's from 7 AM to about 5PM for regular teachers, or long term subs who really need to prep extra for their classes. I did that a lot when I was teaching Home Ec/Cooking. I ended up spending all my money every week on cooking labs, and all my time and energy shopping every Tuesday evening after a full day of teaching.
But, if it weren't for the unwashed dishes, and mess of slop left on floor by some irresponsible pupils, and for the pressure that some pupils put on me to wash their clothes, like a, "Poor, Sorry, Dog, w/o a mama," or to hurry up and give them their grade status.
Well, in other long term sub assignments, i always got assistance from the head teacher or administrator when it came to assigning grades to pupils.
It wouldn't be fair for me to assign grades as i was only there for a month at 1 time, and 2 weeks the second time. That's when i finally "Caved." I had tried to mop the filthy kitchen floor and the darn mop which i had just purchased during supply shopping for the cooking lab, fell apart. Therefore, i stood there in the middle of a putrid, filthy floor holding a cheap, broken mop.
I am sure the mop bristles/yarn threads just needed to be popped back into place, but I use a different type of mop at home in my kitchen, and was therefore totally clueless, and too tired to even think straight. I also had mixed a tad of bleach, to clean the kitchen floor ,along with the very fresh smelling Spanish brand of mopping fluid.
So then, before the mop fell apart, my heart began beating way too fast, and after that is when the darn mop broke off from the pole holding it at a straight angle. I was sweating so much that my thick lens glasses were falling down my cheeks.
So yes, i caved and then felt so bad that i could not feel more in charge of my assignment. I wish the grading part wasn't so stressful for me, but it was. I wish the mop never fell apart, but it did. I wish the students would have been a wee bit more responsible in cleaning up after themselves during the weekly kitchen labs while I was there as their sub, but they weren't. I just feel sad about that assignment.
But later on i went back and helped the new sub out and swept out the kitchen and did a few dishes for her. She is the exact type of teacher they needed. She seems like a very strong person, has a real credential in Cooking, has raised a family, is fun to talk with, and she doesn't even get stressed over something which would make me flip, like the u-shaped pipe missing under a sink that is used at least 2x per week in the kitchen lab.
Now they must stick a bucket under the sink, as she isn't the type to go groveling for maintenance to "Please come ASAP and repair the kitchen sink, as it is missing a part, a VIP!" No, that lady is as tuff as a drill Sargent and that is exactly what those little darlings needed.
