Hello! I am in my early 30s and have suffered from anxiety for about 5-6 years now. I also suffer from depression but its the anxiety that controls my life. I am married to a wonderful man that is my safe person. I don't work now, I have in the past and now consider myself an housewife but not a very good one since I hate cleaning. Does anybody else have dogs? I have five and there are two that can comfort me the best when I'm having an panic attack or just having a bad day in general. I look forward to talking to more of you and i am so happy i found this forum! I have no friends or family that suffers from anything close to what i do.

Hi Whiterose and welcome :)

Well you're in good company here as far as anxiety-sufferers go! You're also in good company with me as someone who hates cleaning lol. I don't have any dogs but I wish I did (I'm not allowed them where I live). Dogs are definitely the best people, as someone once said.

All the best,
Gypsy x

Hello, i am also new here and suffering from social anxiety and shyness. I wanted to ask you something how did you mest your husband and got able to open to him and feel safe around him. I am 20 now and never had a boyfriend because on the first date im always the silent weird chick who is blushing.

Bts, I met my husband online actually and at that time I was not as anxious or depressed as I am now. He was in the military and stationed in Texas. He got out of the military the next year and came to visit me and well, the rest is history :) we were friends first too. Chatting on the phone helped. We would have 3 to 4 hour long phone conversations almost every night. You will meet the right guy, just take your time and try to be friends first.

Thank you! I'm trying a new cleaning schedule now but some days when I'm really tired or anxious I just unload and load the dishwasher and take care of my dogs. Hence why there is dog hair everywhere lol
