Hi friends,

I just wanted to post a quick update on my progress! I actually took a week off now, so I have a minute to check the forum. Besides of having one of those nasty colds, I feel I am doing okay. They switched my tablets, as I said about a month ago. I am now completely of Sertraline (Zoloft - 100 mg), but unfortunately I am now taking Citalopram 10 mg, the pills are making me feel better in general, but I do want to get rid of them completely once the doctors deem it okay. I do notice that without tablets it is a lot more difficult for me, but manageable. They are keeping me on the tablets until I am done with therapy.

So, I am now enrolled in an intensive therapy program for my agoraphobia. Unfortunately there is a waiting list of four months, which should give you a better idea of how many people are experiencing mental health issues nowadays. That being said, I feel a lot stronger than a few months ago. I understand that I am the one causing it and therefore I am the one who can stop it. I admit, there are moments that fear can take over. But I have not left a situation I was scared in or ran out of a building, which shows great progress I think. Hopefully, the therapy will only make me stronger.

I hope this gives other severe agoraphobics some hope. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes you might see it as slow, but eventually you can get there.

See you all next time,
Sandra
