This makes me cringe with anxiety. Firstly, a person begins to live a little, and perhaps gain a bit too much weight. Then they think they are so smart and proactive choosing to go on ,"The Pill" before becoming sexually active. Then they wonder why they are gaining even more weight on this new medicine a few months afterwards. Well, I don't think all OB-Gyn Dr's really think so much as to how much a person weighs when they 1st prescribe birth control pill. In my 20's my Dr was more concerned with making sure I began using a very low dose so not to disturb my haphazard eating that already existed before using, "The Pill." So I think there are some drs who are probly still very concerned with this issue in young sexually active women. But if they are overweight to begin, before being put on ,"The Pill" then afterwards they may experience haphazard weight gain and body image issues anyway if an Unplanned Pregnancy occurs due to the hormone level which they were put on initially being way too weak for their beginning body weight. This issue makes me worry about all the Unplanned Pregnancies occurring all around me. I see many chubby persons who are running around joking about needing to go see a clinic nurse because oopsy their already pregnant, and don't even know how to purchase a bra yet. This concerns me a lot.And , Yes of course a bunch of Unplanned pregnancies running in circles all around me , especially makes me extra anxious. It kind of makes me avoid being intimate to make up for all the other ladies all around me who definately are being very actively intimate, like a bunch of friggen wild rabbits in heat???
