I hope everyone is doing well! I have been on Lexapro 10 mg for about 6 months now and I have never felt better anxiety wise. I have had a lot of stressful issues in my life lately - uncle is in the hospital, I got in a car accident, and I have been swamped at work. I ended up leaving my car at a body shop far from my house and work to be repaired - and silly me, left my Lexapro in the car.
I have been off it now for about a week. I am starting to feel the "brain flash"/headaches, and the anxiety creeping back in. Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night with a panic attack and heart palpitations, and ended up taking a Klonopin to calm me down.
I just got a new prescription for Lexapro today so that I could start taking it again - but this experience has scared me because I didn't realize that this would be a lifelong need. Anyone else feel the same?
