My name's Andy, I'm 29 and in North Texas. I have bi-polar disorder and agoraphobia, and thus no friends. I love to chat though, I just haven't found a comfortable way to meet new people. Geek alert! I'm crazy about anything science-y (including science fiction or pseudoscience), comic books, documentaries, and I watch a lot of TV and movies. If there is a sci-fi/fantasy show you like, chances are I've seen it: Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Firefly, Supernatural, etc.

If you'd like to chat sometime, I'd really appreciate it, thanks very much. :)

Hi Andy.
I'm new here but I'd like to chat if you want :)

Luce.

Hi Luce! Thanks for not letting me feel totally rejected here >_< I was reading your other post about borderline personality disorder. I spent most of last year in group therapy and I remember one member specifically who had been diagnosed with it (we don't typically mention our diagnoses there but some do). I don't know too much about it but it sounds like it can really wreak havoc on your personal life. That member did graduate from the group therapy, if that helps to make you feel more hopeful about overcoming it. If you want to chat, I can't post a link or pm you yet but you can write to me at andypannell at gmail.

Hi.

You're welcome.

It does help but everything is all still new. Lots of different but very strong emotions are alive right now. :( big sigh.

Luce.

Hi Andy :). We met on my introduction post. I'd be happy to talk with you. I'm here to make friends who understand too.

Hi Paige! You're very kind thank you. :) If you're in the North-East I hope you've managed to avoid the blizzard.

Thankfully, most of the blizzard bypassed me completely. I'm glad for that :). I hate driving in the snow.

I live in Texas so I rarely have to worry about any snow! Today in fact it was nearly 80 degrees. :D

I just spent some time in Dallas for the first time. Very nice place

Much better than portrayed in The First 48

I live near Dallas but I've never really been there. What did you do while you were here? Anything fun?

Not too much fun. Went there for a work conference.

Hello!

I'm also looking for people to talk to here because I find find real life social interactions sometimes difficult to get through as I posted somewhere else on here.

PS: Andy, I did get your message but I am unable to reply to it just yet (forum rules)
