Hi everyone, I recently quit smoking and it has triggered panic attacks daily for me. I've always struggled with anxiety, and I'm going through a difficult time in my life. I'm graduating from college this year and I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life when that happens. All of this together has made me fixate on the future, on the day that I will graduate and be thrust into the unknown, and it has made it really hard to enjoy the present. I find myself bursting into tears often and isolating myself from people that I am afraid I will lose when that day comes, including my SO to a degree. I decided to join this forum, as well as a quitting forum, to help me manage my anxieties and fears by talking to like-minded (or burdened) individuals so that I can get back to enjoying my life and those around me. Thanks for listening. :)

Smoking solves the problem it causes itself.

Quitting smoking is hard and stressful
Stress feed anxiety but you know that
Do the E-cig thing if it helps Works for many
You have ended college life and getting ready to be an adult and play grown up and that is stressful is well
No worries though. Just focus on all the cool things in store for you

10 yr ex smoker here now using a e cig and loving it not much better than a analog but i feel much better lowering my nicotine level all the time and my brother quit cold turkey same thing anxiety along with depression but the symptoms do subside rather quickly just hang in there it'll be ok the yucky feeling does go away...i also felt it when i switched to an e cig anxiety, anger so many times i wanted to go back to my pack a day but i stood my ground think the biggest issue in the future will be being around smokers it truly does smell horrible goodluck
