I have been having panic attacks since 6th grade and they have gotten progressively worse since then. I am now 21 years old and I can't go a day with contant anxiety and I just want someone that relates or some advice. I avoid dating because it's the main cause of my anxiety but I want to be able to date without feelings like a crazy person and get so nervous. Plz someone help, I need a push in the right direction, I don't know what to do anymore

Have you ever tried medication for your problems before?
In fact, have you ever tried psychotherapy for your problems?
That's a long time to be suffering.

I am curious on the medication as well. Dating is always a nerve racking experince at least the first couple of dates but it does get better. I was so shy and lacked self confendence and i have my share of regrets for not asking a girl/girls out when i was younger. Wish i knew then what i know now.

Yes, I've tried taking medicine twice, once in highschool and I recently stopped taking it again a couple months ago. it temporarily helped but I don't have money for therapy or meds right now so I feel stuck. :(

Hi,
You can be your own therapist. Just be sure to pay yourself very well ;)

Anxiety is a behavioral problem that can be corrected guess by who !? Yes, You! Forget about medication with all the nasty side effects, use your own mind to overcome anxiety and panic. Regarding dating anxiety, well this can really be overwhelming but can also be cured. My best advice to you is to get out more, fight your fears and don't think about what might go wrong on a date just enjoy the experience no matter what happens.
Also on a date especially firsts dates, don't expect too much, just take it easy and give time to the relationship. Enjoy the moment and don't worry. The worse thing that can happen on a date is that your partner will no longer want to meet again. So, no problem, give it another try with someone else until you find the right person.
Take care!
