I am a 35 year old mom and wife. I have been living with varying degrees of anxiety and panic since I was 13. my anxiety has peeked again this year and is getting to the point where i am seeking help from a naturopath and this forum which is a new experience for me. I am so tired of the same old fears rearing their ugly heads again. driving in the car, waiting in a line, shopping for groceries, appointments, all very normal tasks but sometimes devastatingly oppressing. I accidentally banged my head on the corner of a cabinet this aftrenoon while standing up and now i am making sure i don't have a concussion, and some life threatening situation because of it! FEAR FEAR FEAR, everywhere, all the time, i get so tired.

Hi. Welcome.
It's draining isn't it? - that description sounds so so familiar It could have been something I wrote.
We don't want to feel like that but we're our own worst enemies sometimes. People used to say to me - it's ok, just stop worrying, I dare say you've had the same many times too.
The good news is you can master it if it's something you really want. Many of us have. You'll always have the potential for a fear response but that doesn't mean you have to let it escalate.
A few exercises , a bit of practice, some reading and talking to a cbt specialist and you could be seeing improvements very soon.
See you around. Let us know how you get on.
