I was working , before summer vacation, almost F/T. Now, with this heatwave ,and always worrying about passing out from heat exhaustion and or low blood sugar episodes, I am Anxious about working straight through M-F 8-4. I wish I could just take a magic pill and have energy, and feel 100% perfect. I really want to return to working almost F/T but am scared of feeling weak and or dressing wrong and over heating and feeling Miserable. Plus my mid back, and neck and heart burn are chronic problems for me.
Any advice?????
Sincerely,

Fixed:
I really want to live life on my terms. Go out when I want, stay home when I want. Wake up everyday and do whatever pleases me without the fear and pressure of money. My time would be my own, whatever the weather chooses to be, I am free. I feel restricted and forced to produce between 8-4. What if I'm more productive outside those hours? If only I had money...
Sincerely,
The real Bluerose

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean that my personality is very cute. I'm physically a major overgrown geek, and still wear 1/2 inch coke bottle spectacles in lieu of contact lenses. I'm sad to say I did not qualify for Lasik, or they discriminated against me. But , really I visited 3 different specialists. They think placing a lens under my pupil is superior to Lasik , in my case. But I am Nobody and don't have even a case. How so am i even cute??? I would love to see and then go visit hawaii and go snorkeling on every island , uninhabited one that is, that I could locate. Ironically I do have agoraphobia, but part of my problemo is low vision too...I don't sell donuts door to door either....That's a cute personality.
Perseverent, witty, strong, sensitive, sincere, over weight, visually impaired, lame at times, and always seem to be dreaming of being in a Better place, anywhere than where I am now. That would describe myself.

But you have a job? Thats good during this semi Great Depression which seems to be affecting some of the people in many different countries. Everyone seems to think,"The grass is always Greener on the other friggen side." However; some grasses are not as good as others. Just because we go somewhere else doesn't mean we'll be automatically respected or loved or provided employment just because we are , "The new kids on the Block!" There are many unemployed persons out there and so every day I binge on humble pie. I , at times , am exhausted from chewing the same old grass, but it's grass and I'm a cow. Moooooooooooooooooooooo.

No it's how I sleep. I sleep usually from 11 to 5:45 AM ish.... Then awaken. But when I worked a reverse 11 to 6 AMish job my sleep habits were all messed up. Then I had trouble sleeping and never ate the right food and gained 70 lbs and later after I quit that job I found Jesus in a pool and swam myself out of size 22 and back to size 14 and there I still be. But miss the pool, still need to begin a better exercise routine again. i fear I'm not in Top Shape after 10 yrs and need tio try better at losing weight and exercising more and the sleep cycle well thats ok now, but the other stuff is in the way now. So its like watching a sequel of a movie of a lady who keeps re-gaining and losing weight and its 1 big butt of a nightmare for me...Thats what my sleep cycle is to me???

No, but thanks for the cheering me up with that. but i must work extra hard because i'm NOT 1 of the perfect people out there in the USA. It's like being #2 and knowing i must try harder because i'm NOT #1, yet...And it's quite Exhausting. Esp when HR is reminding me that ,"If .....anyone ever complains more than 3 x, its 'Curtains' for me then!!!!!"
And this is my work pressure daily too....How can i ever be myself?????
And no union to be ,"The Fighting Irish" for me either?????
I think i shall die of Heart Burn b4 i ever get fired though!!!!!

Your fear is completely natural, even for people who don't suffer from social phobia.
Once you'll start your first day, then your first week, it will all seem familiar and your sense of confidence will rise again.
The fear you're feeling is only temporary. When you'll start the old-new routine, it will go away in due time.
What can you do now? whenever you think about it and it stresses you out - take a few deep breathes and remind yourself you can deal with anything.
It helps immediately to reduce the stress for the short term. Do it whenever needed, even if it's 3 times an hour.
