Starting to feel better during the day (less gloomy, more confidence) but the 5:00am panic attacks are just as bad or worse.

So far I a managing them with ativan. Hope this doesn't go on too much longer! Bah!

Anti-depressants can take quite a while to get you on an even keel. Two months isn't unusual. So hang in there and try to keep the Ativan as minimal as possible.

I am on Effexor as well and it took me a good month or two to really notcie much difference in my anxiety. I mean the panic attacks are still there, but I found on the meds that they werent a bad and I was able to cope.

I tried that pill, and it was a bad 1 for me. I felt yucky the entire time I was on it. Cloudy and not even a chance of meatballs. I felt so nauseated that of course it helped me to reduce my weight. But overall it made me feel so grossed out that even if weight loss was the side effect my dr was looking at as a desirable goal, there had to be something better than that , for me. Then I found OTC caffeine pills and that helped my weightloss, and no more yucky Effexor that made my life unbearably nauseating.
