An online, or web-based pharmacy, comes in two flavors.

One requires that you submit an actual doctor-prescribed prescription and they will send the meds. This is legit and legal.

The other type has their own "doctors" that you request medicine by answering certain questions in an on-line form. This can be illegal.

In both cases, one must be concerned about whether you are receiving actual medicine. They could be fake medicine that looks just like the real stuff, or worse, they could be medicine that has contaniments.

Unless the online-pharmacy is approved by your doctor and/or the FDA, I would stay very far away, as they will usually be a rip-off, illegal or harmful to your health.
