Hey there,
let me expose my problem,
it all started 2 years ago, after a week of panic attacks, since then my abdominal muscles and neck muscles are most of the time, if not always, contracted.
It affects me a lot, for about a year i started to breathe correctly and it released some of the tension, but it's still there , and still unbearable.
I can't do sport correctly because my abdominal tension push on my lungs, magnesium is the only thing that allows me to sleep, i can't drink coffee, alcohol, it will cause me more tension and i won't be able to sleep at all.
The most annoying thing is that i have uncontrollable thoughts, when my mind is occupied it's fine, but when it's not, i just can't control them. The thoughts doesn't mean anything it's just random words popping and having the voice of people that i heard today, it's really freaking me out.
When i drink alcohol it's unbearable, i feel like a crazy person so i haven't tasted a single drop in 2 months and i'm totally ok with it, i would often drink 2 or 3 beers a week.
I tried many things, yoga, sophrology, anxiolytic meds, self muscle massage, and so on, the only things that works for 1 or 2 hours of joy is sport, meditation, after that i feel really good, so i'm guessing my body do not produce enough endorphin when i'm not doing these things, can you call that depression?
I will soon see my doctor to have a blood check to make sure that i'm not missing something in my body, if not i will have to see a specialist because i just can't stand it anymore,
who will you advice me to see : a regular psychologist ? a cognitive and behavioral therapy? or someone else?
If you relate to my story, have you some advice that worked on your situation? It would be pleased, thank you.
