I have recently started university, I am living away from home for the first time and I am finding it very difficult to keep my anxious thoughts at bay. I don't drink very much as I find I am prone to overwhelming feelings on anxiety and panic attacks if i do, and clubbing makes me extremely anxious, even without drink. This is making it really hard to make friends as everything surrounds drinking and the things that don't involve me having to get a bus on my own to try and find some other people but then I get anxious about getting home on my own. I feel like I am trapped in my own anxiety bubble. Does anyone have any tips for the anxious thoughts before they lead to a panic attack ? as at the moment my life is being controlled by Anxiety.
