I am 40 years old, pretty serious anxiety sufferer. I still have my wisdom teeth, and one is infected, so they are taking them tomorrow morning. I am not handling it well! The thought of getting knocked out, has always been one of my biggest fears. I did go through this last December, and obviously made it through no problem. But, as you all know, anxiety is all about the what ifs? So, if anyone would like to give me some helpful advice, please share.

There are no what ifs. You're going in, you'll take a nap and wake up feeling like a hamster. The comical side of such a thing is all that needs to be seen :) take care.

you'll take a nap and wake up feeling like a hamster.

and that is exactly what I'm going to do October 1st when they cut a huge chunk out of my leg! (or a tiny little piece of tissue)...LOL!
I have never had a surgery of any type so this will be a first for me, and I think I can handle it.
I have had a stitch in the end of my thumb with NO anesthetic once! OMG!!!
Best wishes friends....
