Hi there,
I'm 45, healthy and workout almost every day. I do take small doses of diltiezam for a fast heart rate. It's enough for peace of mind my doctor said. I have battled anxiety attacks for years!
This last week was one of the worst mini attacks I had. I was sitting there all calm and all of a sudden my left side of my face/neck felt kinda cool and goosebumpy like. Then I had a spilling sensation in my head on my left side. If felt like I had a leak of some sort. I INSTANTLY became light headed, dizzy and felt like I was going to pass out/die! I know it felt like that sensation lasted forever. But we know that it could really be 3-5 seconds or less. This was last Tuesday. A week ago today. Since then I have had a weird heavy feeling on my left side just under my ear and cheek. It almost feels like my skin is coming off the novacain you get from the dentist.
I haven't had that spilling sensation since then but I keep 'waiting' for it. I hate the numb like feeling I am having.
Anyone have this happen?
Thanks for listening and glad I found this group. ;)
