Helping a friend

My friend tonight messaged me saying he was going insane.


I tried to teach him what i've been taught.
But his belief was this " I will go insane, every day I slip further, I am not in my mind anymore", what help can I give him?

Therapy will help there. Without the want or desire to change one cannot. Perhaps someone he can view in high regard will be able to get him to listen.

That's true. He does seem though that he wants to change, he has even wrote a dairy of hallucinations and his thoughts.

He needs professional help.

Hallucinations could be anxiety, but could be a psychotic breakdown or schizophrenia. nothing to toy around with.
