Effexor XR 37.5 first week, causing SEVERE anxiety

Racing thoughts making me feel I'm going crazy.

I've read this gets better over time. I wonder how long it will take?

I know how you feel with the racing thoughts thing, tried to go up on my Lexapro earlier this week and had the same issue. I'm a little over three weeks on my meds and I'm still experiencing some side effects but that's mostly because my doctor keeps wanting me to increase my dosage. I think I remember you saying that you had been on Effexor previously. Do you remember having this side effect the first time that you were prescribed Effexor?

First time it was a transition after Zoloft pooped out so not really.

It's always easier when your able to transition off of one ad while adding another. Have you talked to your doc?
