My wife had to sooth me with her touch this morning because I was having a dream at 5:00am that a cabinet in the house was following me around and I was trying to yell "Poltergeist". Apparently my whole body was shaking and I was audible in my yell.
After I awoke I was immediately reminded of a restructuring that took place at my old job several years ago that I experienced as both rejection and betrayal - in effect, a trauma that started my panic attacks.
this morning I am both laughing my head off at the dream and thankful to my soul for reminding me what I must heal from but also for reminding me that many of my current fears are phantoms that have no basis in reality....
heavy stuff...the work continues
