I'm an anxious sufferer. I'm also a health freak or a hypochondriac.

Now to share my horrible experience with you all.

It all started with my acid reflux episode, it was new to me so I was worried, I made a stupid choice to diagnosr myself with Google.Google gave me everything I typed in a bad news kind of way. Terrible to see. Scarred me for life. Now it was the start but it didn't end there.

Any ailment in my body becomes a call to a hospital. Now I'm freaking out about eye floaters, even though most cases of these are benign and can rarely develop into a detachment.

My family is already ridiculing me because I'm crazy about my health.

I sure I'm not alone.

Hi guys :)

Hi Criszy, Welcome to the forum you are amungst friends. I am a health anxiety person myself. One of the best sticky/threads that helped me beside all the kind folks on here is called HEALTH ANXIETY EXPOSED and you will find it in the general disscussion section. Take some time and reda through the thread and watch the videos and if you have question, ask them. Good luck

Hi Criszy - welcome to the forum, likewise I am new here!

Sorry to hear about your self diagnosis issues, but I can confidently say it is something you can and will get through - as I've been there myself.

I used to google every symptom i'd find. Note the "find" - I sort of searched for symptoms... even if they didn't exist at all!

My problems are now a mile away from yours but rest assured - it will get easier.
