Okay my issues with panic started last November. Before that I lived with minor anxiety and a general "dull" outlook on life. I read about HTTP and how it can regulate a positive mood so I picked up a bottle. This was 2 years ago, by the way. First dose made me drowsy, I took one pill everyday for a week. By the end of the week I was an emotional wreck, fighting back the urge to cry, not wanted to do anything etc
I read this is an unusual reaction, but others have also felt HTTP doing the opposite of what it should do. So I threw the bottle away.
Anyway, I am considering goin on Zoloft for my recent panic attacks and general negative outlook on life. Since it's an SSRI that takes commitment to fully work, what can I expect? I'm worried I'll react in a bad way because of how lousy HTTP made me feel. Do not want to go through too much hell while living with an unprovoked panic disorder.
Anyone try HTTP and get the opposite effect? Have you also taken an SSRI?
Other drugs do this to me too. Lorazapam would make me feel angry and agitated. Pseudo ephedrine does the same when I take it for my cold. My doctor tells me this is rare.
