I've been reading Dr Weekes' book on dealing with panic and anxiety. I'm giving the 'acceptance' method a go, whereby when anxiety/panic symptoms come, I accept them and don't fight them or begrudge them.

I've had a great week but yesterday and today I've had the old favourite, weak and trembling extremities, as well as a touch of derealisation. My head is fine right now but I've had touch of light-headedness.

For anyone else going by Dr Weekes' teachings, can you give any practical advice on 'accepting' and 'floating' through panic? I've sat on my bed, allowed myself to go limp and 'let' it happen, but it's so hard to just accept what's coming. I've been good at not adding 'second fear', but I still find myself begrudging the weakness and trembling, especially when I have to do the washing up. I also see little point in allowing myself to go into a real panic - it's so exhausting.
