Tinnitus

Does anyone have tinnitus? If so, when do you notice it gets worse?

I have it from listening to loud music on earphones. Being around loud noises makes it worse, and some meds, and too much caffiene seems to make it worse too.

Mine is just constant......worse when surrounded by sound.

Caffeine makes mine worse too, as well as salt, and being around loud noises. I thought I would have it temporary, as well as the Vertigo, but I guess they are both here to stay.

Mine is constant too. Somedays I barely know it is there and other days the sounds seem heightened.

I have had this as long as I can remember, along with eye floaters. I have awful allergy issues, and had tubes put in my ears when I was a baby (twice). Lots of sinus issues. I have never mentioned it to a doctor because I'm sure they'd say "just get used to it" LOL! I find it annoying, but I can live with it.

I've noticed lately while feeling extremely stressed that I seem to have tinnitus as well. I used to play drums without ear protection though, so that may be partially to blame. I also worked at the airport loading cargo jets, Boeing 727's, Boeing 747's, and Douglas DC-8s, are all LOUD!

I hate it when doctors say, "It is something you will have to live with". Someone with anxiety, doesn't want to hear that.

Wow. I have noticed it acts up with certain foods, going to the movie theatre and of course being around loud music.
