M so freaked out and depressed! Over the last year and a half I've lost 2/3rds of my hair!! I'm only 33 it doesn't seem to run in my family and I just can't figure it out! I already have terrible social anxiety and feel like everyone is staring at me and judging me and I have really bad self esteem and it's so much worse with the balding! I'm at a loss about it. I've tried rogain even men's strength and lots if hair growing vitamins etc.. But nothing is working. I've had my anxiety disorders my entire life so if it was anxiety or stress would it just be starting now??? Has anyone else gone through this or have any ideas??? I cry every time I look in the mirror and my boyfriend is feeling so helpless as to helping me. He says he will love me anyway but how could a bald girlfriend be sexy? Help I feel so lost and hopeless/helpless!! Casstar

One other thing you could look into is hormone imbalance. Sometimes that will trigger crazy hair loss not to mention crazy spikes in anxiety.
Find yourself a good naturopath, conventional doctors won't see the connection. Also, look into your diet, something you are eating may be causing the problems.
I have found that my anxiety levels have really balanced out since I have up all grains, sugar and processed foods.
Good luck!

Thanks so much for reading caring and responding :) even that helps. I've been thinking about looking into a naturopath so I think you may have a good idea there. It's worth a shot! Thanks again. It means a lot to know someone out there is listening. ;) casstar

Oh my dear I can relate, however I am much older than you. I checked my hormones, my thyroid, all tests they all come good and sound. Anxiety and stress is the reason for that. It was falling out for two years, and I was crying for two years. Vitamin B Complex 100 can help for that. Chose the special shampoo. It stopped falling, I still have some, when I made my shampoo bar. It just stopped. Yesterday I washed it with shampoo, not the cheap one but special one Nioxin and guess what? a fist of hair come out already. I am going back to my shampoo bar.
Check the natural soaps but chose the one with a no coconut oil because it is stripping.
Natural soaps helps others with the hair loss. I had checked it with a few forums, soap making forums. Remember about eating veggies and fruit. Try not to take fish oil , which mostly is contaminated with heavy metals and can cause the hair loss:)) Let us know how it goes. Low red cells count=hair loss.
Needtogetwell is very right about sugars and processed foods. Our hair goes first...
oh I forgot drinking gelatine can help too

Thank you so much for your ideas, this is just such a lonely feeling!! I always had nice long thick hair but now my scalp is showing! What do you mean by a shampoo bar?? And do do you have a brand you like best? Or did I missunderstand?? Thanks again!!! Casstar :)

Casstar shampoo bar is specially formulated with a lot of oils to condition , bar for hair. Home soaper make them, I started to make my own soaps and shampoo bars due my allergies to commercial soaps. You will have to find health food store or natural soaps store for it. Where are you? I mean what country. You can buy the soaps on markets too, people have stalls. Ask the question and read the label. It takes a moment to lose the hair but to get it back it takes up to 6 months. You should see me crying every time I washed and look at all lost hair:)) Let me know where you are so I can point you to someone :) If you do not want to do this here send me a message :)
