Yesterday was a horrible day for me, today is a little better. What are you symptoms you deal with, physically and mentally?
I get vertigo as well! Anxiety really aggravates it.

What are your symptoms Joe?
What are your symptoms Joe?
My vision spins, I feel like I am spinning and I am off balance when I walk while I have a vertigo attack. Even though I have attacks of vertigo which are really really bad, a little vertigo is constant. I can't be completely still at all without experiencing vertigo.
What are yours like?

I too have a little vertigo, constantly. The first time it happened, it went away, all symptoms, this second time, I feel like something is still there, like I am unbalanced sometimes, and my ears are always ringing, and not right.
My ears ring as well, especially when trying to sleep!
I keep meaning to try the epley maneuver, but I think asking a doctor to do it will be the best, however going to the doctors gives me panic attacks......damm lol

Hi MAM Have you been checked out by ENT?
One of the primary causes of long term vertigo episodes is uncompensated labyrinthitis (swelling/irritation of the inner ear) it can sometimes be secondary to inflamed sinus (mine is worse through the summer with all the pesky pollen).
Anxiety does enhance the spinning/dizzy sensations.
There are techniques such as the Epley maneuver that can help.

Also nasal antihistamine spray (such as sudafed) can also help to relieve inflammation).
Best of luck :)

I have been to the ENT, quite a few months ago, when I only had one episode. I have since gotten a lot worse but lost my medical insurance. I am going to look into that maneuver. I hope it helps. Thank you Fourteen14.

You are welcome.
Vertigo is a really tricky one to diagnose.
In the case of Labyrinthitis the inflammation only lasts a short time, but leaves a small amount of permanent damage in the inner ear.
The majority of people compensate the imbalance and the symptoms go away after a few months. When it's uncompensated, the symptoms become chronic and require physical therapy (to allow the nerve signals from the eyes to co ordinate with the ears).
