Sounds like a good party Dahila I am pleased you enjoyed it so much:). Cool snake John I think I would have jumped and danced if it came near my foot as well! as for worrying about stuff that you have no control over, I know it's hard and is the nature of the condition! but what will be will be and no amount of you worrying over it is gonna change a thing. As Dahila says you just have to accept you have no control over this stuff.

Anyway a picture from me! I went bird watching with my magic 400mm and got a good shot of an egret.

So John, you are much more like Cully and I raising a child with a difficulty. That must be why we all click so well. Having a child with some form of disability is an added stress on our lives, but the truth be known, they are only given to the strongest of us. Only those of us with the most love to give deserve special kids like ours!

Look into the med your sister has suggested, it maybe just what you need to get you out of this funk! You know I will support whatever route you choose!

Thanks Pam. I have been med free for two years except xanax which only helps with panic attack. I think i may try it.

I think after a while its good to cut back off and possibly even try going without for a while - OMG - did I say "go without for a while" LOL imagine that! WOW - a couple of days without a pill ... Strike me down and call my a non contributer to the PHARMERS. I sometimes do that john. Only issue is the itching I get when backing of sequel. I'll work on that. IMO - Pills where never meant to be long term ... $$$ made it that way and sheepel just love the paraphernalia of it all.

You can always pick them back up again. Even drug addicts know the benefits to at least cutting back before upping the doses again. Going stagnant on meds is not a good thing. Pays to change things up a bit. You don't have to stop taking them, just switch things around a bit is all.

Oh yes, we got that. So much rain yesterday that the back yard still has standing water this morning. We had 2 rounds of very very severe storms. The first one around 4pm sounded like a freight train going through. I've never heard thunder continuously like that. The second round that ripped through was even worse. We were very lucky there were no tornadoes around here. I'm sure today we will find out there were a bunch of them throughout the province.

Well it was potato harvest day! I have to say I'm quite pleased, 22 potatoes out of a trash can! Some are the size of large grapefruit! Definitely going to do this next year.

Hello friends!

Popping in to say I'm still alive! Lots going on, son is having a rocky start to the school year, mother in law needs to be placed in a nursing home, and I went back to work this Monday past.

The work thing is going to take a few weeks to adjust, I'm only doing 4 hours a day right now but I am exhausted beyond belief, not to mention I picked up a nasty head cold and my sinuses are so sore. It figures, as soon as I venture out of my house I get sick!

Anyway,

Hi Pam, good to hear from ya and sorry about the stress, i can relate. Taking my Dad to cleveland clinic next month for a heart valve replacement. It's supposed to be a new way of doing it through the groin and a lot less evasive. Sure hope he qualifies because his lungs won't handle the traditional open heat style. If he qulaifies they will do surgery on the 13 of oct. Peace
