Hey
So as it's a bank holiday weekend I've been kind of stuck so on Wednesday I realised I had one days left of medication left and I booked an appontment for Tuesday morning to see my gp to get another perscription since I've been off it (today's Monday) I haven't felt any worse as I expected just like electric all the time like I'm getting little electric impulses. Is this connected?
Any more side effects I could expect?

It sounds like the electrical impulses could be a side effect of withdrawing. It is also very difficult to predict if or which withdrawal effects you may experience, each person will experience different side effects and each drug will cause different withdrawal effects. For example I ran out of Venlafaxine on a friday, by sunday morning I felt like what I imagine a heroin addict would feel like when withdrawing, it was really bad. But I have missed 2-3 days of celexa and I got through with very minor symptoms.

I would try not to sit there and "expect" any side effects because you could create your own side effects as a result of anticipatory anxiety. If you do experience anything new which isn't severe I would put it down as either a withdrawal effect or anxiety but make sure you discuss anything new with your gp tomorrow to be sure.

Howdy,
Yea i went off of paxil after 13 years and electrical head jolts is what I called them. It seemed worse when you moved your head or something. I knew what they were because in that 13 years i misse a few script. refills and it only takes one or two days without it and your brain is joltting away. Do not worry though they are harmless just a major pain in the a$$. Good luck
