Panic attack

Had a really rough night. Have allergy sinus issues with headaches can this cause high blood pressure. My bp has been 140-150 over 95-104. Several heart palps as well. Not trying to complain just want to see if this is common . I took a regular Claritin and an hour later my heart rate went to 140 for about ten minutes then I finally calmed down. Any ideas?

The same thing happens to my husband when he takes Claratin. He had to switch to Reactine and doesn't have the problem.

I think this happens as a side effect of antihistamines. Can you survive without them?

me too... im obsessed with my blood pressure i always check it... is it normal to us to have a high blood pressure? im kinda scared about it.. it freaks me out everyday...

Pam is right antihistamine will cause high heart rate, and this is why I do not take it. It is difficult time for allergy sufferers. Blessed I stopped taking anything when I started to use sinus rinse.
