Is it normal when you take Ativan to feel really panicky or weird ,, like it's all hitting you at once? I don't know if I was just scared to take it or that's the effect but my chest was burning and my body was tingling and I thought I was going to faint... Few minutes after that I felt calm n started getting sleepy .. Sleepy part didn't bother me .. It was the horrid sensation before that that did

I take Ativan and it does make you feel a bit weird because it is hitting you all at once.

It does make you sleepy, sleep off the effects if you want and you can sleep easily.

It's nothing to be afraid of. I was afraid as well the first time I had taken it. But once that fear is out of the way, know that you are safe and it's only a small amount in that medication that you are prescribed and just enough to get you through the attack that you are having.
