I am terrified that something is wrong with my heart. I sometimes have chest pain - it radiates down my left arm - palpitations and even the feeling of my heard suddenly stopping for about ten seconds. It's made me feel weak, breathless, dizzy and weird vision. I have had three EKG's done, complete blood work, chest x-ray and even a cardiac CT scan and all of them came back normal. Yet, the pain continues for some unknown reason and it continues making me think something is wrong. I'm a 22, male. It leaves me terrified. I also have a high heart rate every time I think about it. Anyone else feel like this?

My guess for why you remain in pain and experience these symptoms despite a clear bill of health is anxiety. As you said you are terrified that their is something wrong with your heart and your anxiety is manifesting itself by producing symptoms of your worst fears. I think many of us here can relate to how you are feeling it is not uncommon and you are not alone with these difficulties :)
Is this a new experience for you or is it something that is ongoing? I think the important thing is for you to remember that you have had various tests all of which say you are physically healthy. Anxiety is producing these symptoms, the anxiety is making you question the results you were given which is in turn producing more anxiety and feeding the cycle. If it is to the point where it is affecting your life/making it difficult to function my advice would be to speak to a doctor or psychiatrist about the difficulties you are having.

I'm sorry to hear that, give the medication a chance to help you. it can take between 2-8 weeks before you feel the benefit but keep taking it :)

After all those tests I'd say your heart is fine and anxiety is you issue just like I used to have. Have you seen a therapist to talk about your anxiety? Alankay
