My depression for the most part does not affect my work, family, and sex life. My energy is no different and I'm still very active. I don't drink caffein, alcohol, and I don't eat chocolate or eat or drink anything high in refined sugars. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. I exercise almost daily. I meditate daily sometimes 2 times a day.
I took meds in the beginning last year but found they were making me worse. I've gotten better since and actually get some good days. But although I do so much right I still can't lift the "blues" feelings inside that trigger the thoughts that than make the feelings worse on bad days.
I am thinking of taking zoloft again 25mg but afraid that cause it's mild depression maybe not a good choice.
Any advice?

Thanks for your response. I'll have them on hand but still undecided. I've been so much better and I've improved so much but I find the improvements are very slow and small and some days feels like step backwards. It actually feels like I hit a plateau cause I've been feeling this way for about a month.
Well i as I see it,if you have them to hand already and you have felt good in the past for taking them then why not give them a go.
If you have been anxious for four weeks now then it worth a go and it will help your anxious mind untill your ready to come off of them again if you wanted to 😄

Again thanks for the response. My anxiousness too is pretty mild. Its a strange thing. I linger somewhere between control and no control with anxiety and depression I think. I can't be that depressed or just very strong if my anxiety doesn't affect to much of my daily life. I do everything in spite of how I feel sometimes. My feelings are what I have a hard time controlling almost like my feelings come first triggering the thoughts. Not any particular negative thoughts just random to make me feel worse.
Sorry I know it's a medication thread just had to put that out there. Appreciate your advice.

I used to think I could exercise, eat right, do yoga and keep the anxiety and depression at bay, but while all those things may be good, I still needed the lexapro.
