I take them all the time together, no interactions that I know of.

oops sorry but your nick does not give the clue. Antibiotics and benzos do not interact, I am on clonazepam, and a bunch of others meds (I am old) it does not intract with antibiotics or pain killers. Of course it is smart to limit intake of medication in such young age. :)

Clonazepam (and benzodiazepines in general) have very few drug-drug interactions. Clonazepam is a sedative, and that means it can amplify the effects of other sedatives, including ethanol. Mixing ethanol and benzodiazepines can be fatal.

However, clonazepam and most benzodiazepines do not have significant effects on your liver's ability to metabolize other drugs, which is a major source of drug-drug interactions, and benzodiazepines don't really have any other drug-drug interactions to speak of. They don't cause serotonin syndrome, they don't cause neuroleptic malignant syndrome. Benzos are just sedatives, so be careful mixing with sedatives.

Advil (ibuprofen) is also relatively free of drug-drug interactions. As is Tylenol (acetaminophen). Large doses of Tylenol are toxic to the liver, but that's a different story.

Somanyproblems I do not think that young man needs too much information. Your post is overwhelming even to such veteran of anxiety war as I am, Welcome to the forum ,

I understand your point, but I think information is a very powerful and beneficial tool in the fight against anxiety.

The information that benzos have very few drug-drug interactions will help him be less anxious about mixing drugs.

The information that benzos should never be mixed with alcohol may save his life. Heath Ledger died from mixing benzos and other sedatives, although in his case it was painkillers and other exotic pills.

I find information extremely comforting. It helps you feel in control, and that calms anxiety.
