I've been doing mindfulness meditation for a year now and although I find real relief and stillness during meditation and a little time after I've found it hard to maintain it throughout the day.

Because we naturally live in the future, we sit there and think/worry about what is going to happen so much that we pay no attention to the moment we are in. If you haven't already read this book it provides short stories/examples of using mindfulness in the day to day living of life

libertynow Jon Kabat Zinn will teach it to you. I quit the meditation for a few years, and now I am on thanks to him. His voice guided meditation is just awesome. We are a creature of habit and we stay in past or future, we have difficulties to stay in the present. The only way for me is to stop what I am doing and remind myself :) breathing is the best , everywhere I am , I am focusing on my tummy for a minute or two, it helps me to get grounded in the present moment. Please do not mind my English, it is my second language. "Wherever you go you are" that's the book by Jon Kabat Zinn and it helped me and my husband the most...
