I have a friend who is always happy and raving about how happy she is,in spite of her past, on her Facebook and in person. The thing is she also says to me that I should be like her and not take things to heart etc. it's frustrating that ppl seem to think that with anxiety/depression you're choosing to be sensitive or unhappy. But impossible to explain that it's an illness and that you can't help it. That you are trying but don't always have control over your feelings. Anyone else experienced this?
