Hi fellows...i have social anxirty and shynesss...recently i started using zoloft 50mg per day...and wow im feeling great anxiety is significantly reduce and my mood is always hAppy...i was wondering any one else use this med and does it has any side effects... Cause i got none right now..thank you

Hi usman, that's so great that you have found something so helpful!! I have taken Zoloft off and on a few times for several years. The main side effect that I know of and eventually lead me to stop taking it is severe sexual side effects! It sucks to have to choose between the two but if Zoloft is helping you this much it may be worth it to put up with the side effects. Also, after being on it for 3 or so years it just stopped working! I learned that this can be common for some reason with Zoloft. So I stopped taking it for a year or so and got back on it for quit awhile but had the same thing happen again but like I said it took years for that to happen. There are other small effects which probably vary in degree for each person like constipation, dry mouth, same stuff as the other meds of this kind. But the main one is the sexual side effects. Basically the inability to have an orgazm and lessend feeling and sensitivity in that area. Hope this was helpful. And again congrats on finding something so helpful!!! Always here, casstar :)

Side effects are different with everyone

You may be fortunate to never notice any side effects

Don't ask what might happen

Just enjoy the way you are feeling

Good chance it just stays the way it is and you are feeling and will never change

Thank you casster1 and nixon for ur reply ...i really appreciate it....i dont see any side effects yet maybe because i use it like 3 times (maybe less)a week ,not everyday.... But the main sexual side effect got my attention now..but still i dont notice any....any way thank you for guve me ur time..

Has a fair few side effects, the first two weeks where bad for me they really effected my stomach, I also sweat allot more and its effecting my gums.
