Hi,
Did anyone here find our that their anxiety problems were due to Hypothyroidism?
And if so, were they controlled through medication?
Thanks

Thyroid problems can certainly have a bearing on the nervous system. However it's more common that hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) is linked to depression, it's normally hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) that is attributed to anxiety.
Both conditions are ordinarily controlled with thyroxine/thionamides and should alleviate the symptoms once it's under control.
