Hi, I'm sort of new to the forum. I joined quite sometime ago but ironically I haven't been able to push myself to make a post! I thought it might be best to introduce myself however I couldn't seem to find a single main introductions thread, am I confused by thinking there would be one?
I've noticed a lot of people introducing themselves by starting a new thread however some seem to get very few responses and unless you read through each of the threads I don't really feel you get a feel for the people here...
Is there a welcome and introduction thread? Thanks.

welcome to the forum, not there is not single thread, thank you but we have subforum for new comers, the one you posted. People tend to introduce themselves with too much information it is time consuming to read all the stories. I prefer something like yours. Flightless Falcon the choice of nick tells me that you are in right forum, and you will probably enjoy your stay:))

Hey, and welcome to the forums, Falcon! You did great just by starting your own intro thread and saying hello.. So it's nice to meet you and I'm glad you could make this introductory step! :)

Thank-you very much for clearing that up for me. If I wished to make a post to ask others advice or opinions on specific anxiety related problems, would I place this post in under the general discussion section of the anxiety disorders section?
Thank-you in advance.

Once I've started posting things it becomes easier to reply and post more, its just difficult to start. It's like an essay or a first counselling/therapy session, where there's so much to say but no easy place to start.
Thanks for the welcome.

Most people read the general forum more than anything else
People do a quick hell in the welcome forum. Not as many people will see them there though
