i think it's technically fine since it's relatively low doses of both. Luvox is okay. I loved Lexapro but it wasn't working with my extreme anxiety anymore. My doctor said I had obsessive thoughts and needed to be on Luvox. It has helped about 40% i'd say. I am on 150mg (max dose is 300). Luvox will make you tired at first, but it goes away. Also, you can't have caffeine while on it. It inhibits many of the same receptors as other drugs, so you have to be careful with interactions.
May I ask why you were switched? Luvox is an old drug and not very popular in the US anymore. My doctor said it's good though, just not caught up with big pharma marketing anymore.

I started Luvox about a week ago and I don't have all the side effects that I read about. I'm a little tired but not too bad. My obsessive thoughts are still there, but they said give it a couple of weeks. I am only on 50mg so I might need to have my dose upped. I hope it works because these obsessive thoughts are ruling my life....

I am switching because of my obsessive thoughts and lexapro wasn't helping :-(

My obsessive thoughts were a huge problem for me. I would think myself into a panic attack. I think it's getting a little bit better, but I might need to have my dose upped a little bit because I still find myself obsessing.
