I have taken xanax for the past year prn to start and the. 0.5 a day then for the past 2 minths 1 mg i was having bad anxiety so i started taking it 0.25 mg four times a day 9am,1pm,5pm,10pm and that worked fine til a out a week ago.
I having a problem with my 10 pm dose i take it and then about a hour later i start having some what i think is rapid hb buy my pulse is fine. I feel like i am drunk like i cant get up like i just out of it. I toss a turn for at the most for 1.5 i also will wake up it is hard to explain sorry i cant.it is like that dose makes me worse so i cant sleep.
I use to about 3 month ago take 1/4 of 0.5 mg an fall right to sleep no problems. I also tried for the past week to cut my dose to 0.1875. Today i have felt nausea since about noon also. I tried to taper i got to my 5 pm dose avout 2 weeks ago amd had to go back to my 1 mg.
Dr wants me on citalopram but scared to death of it. Never had a pill phobia til now i have no depression buy have lost intreat in thinga also have NO libido at all. I also have pinched nerves in my neck that arr making my arm go numb uhg!
I am 42 yo female and feel 90 any help would be great this night thing is making me crazy
