Trazodone

So I'm taking Lexapro for my anxiety, 10mg (Xanax when needed, .50mg). I'm having trouble sleeping so my doctor prescribed me 50mg of trazodone to take at bedtime. I had taken generic simply sleep for years and think I developed a tolerance to it, so he tried this. Anyone has any experience with trazodone for sleep? Thanks!

Haven't taken it myself, but from what I've been reading lately, it does seem to knock a few people out at night. I know Frankie, cat, 13 among others have taken it.

Cat here- this shit is awesome. I take 25mg a night with a small piece of ambien (weaning off the ambien) and it knocks me out. I went from sleeping 4-5 hours to 8-9.
