Asking your Psychiatrist/Doctor for a certain medication

Is it a good idea? I researched meds such as valium and klonopin they look like they would work for me I have been on Visitral for around 30 Days for anxiety I see no improvements I was jus curious if I should ask my psychiatrist next visit to put me on benzos Im worried they'll think Im a druggie but no SSRI I have tryed worked is it a good idea to ask?

I was wondering the same thing... I don't have a pdoc yet, i'm still waiting after the referral... driving me crazy

My GP refused any benzos, but she is an idiot. My Psych doc put me on klonopin 0.5 twice a day or once if I want. I take it once a day Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday is no stress time no benzos, Welcome to the forum. You may try asking but it will probably not work. With psychiatrist is different story:)
