Hey everybody, im new here but have been suffering with Anxiety, depression and OCD for most of my life. I am 2o yrs. old. Very active and fit. Love to weightlift and pursuing bodybuilding however my OCD and anxiety are holding me back. I often feel tired and lethargic as a result of anxiety, trouble sleeping and overeat due to stress. I am not overweight however and I do exercise regularly. OCD and anxiety prevent me from living a normal life. I dropped out of college due to it and living at home which does not help as my mom and dad are a big trigger to me. I am a marine corps reservist and did fine at boot camp so I can handle stressful situations. But lately I have been spinning out of control. Binge eating, not working out, extreme anxiety and OCD. I am in EMT/fire school and want to drop out because of this.

I have tried some medicine but so far none have worked for me.
Zoloft did help but it caused erectile dysfunction and I threw everyday because of the nausea it caused.
wellbutrin did nothing but make me have panic attacks and suicidal thoughts.

currently on buspirone for the second week 10mg 3x daily.

I want to try something that will help my anxiety and OCD without causing me to be tired, letherigc, no energy, weight gain or sexual issues. I am young and love to workput so I can t deal with lower energy.

Does anybody have any input on some medications ??

I would like to stay away from benzos ans ssri's

Myself I'm On buspirone, it has helped a bunch. For OCD Zoloft too. Wellbutrin is evil simple as that. But a very low dose of a benzo may help out a lot. Paxil maybe?
