Hey people,
So i'm going to try and introduce myself without going into a whole life story, but just so people can get a feel for who I am and what i've been through. About 2 years ago I had a such bad panic attacks I was taken to my nearest hospital, that day I chose to stand up and do something about it. I had previously been suffering from anxiety and forms of agoraphobia for those 5 years as well.
My mindset has always been if someone else can be happy, I can too. I might not be as smart, but I have the basic same brain as they do, 2 arms, 2 legs. So what I started doing, is I went out for 2 years now, meeting people on the streets, making conversations with people, addressing my agoraphobia. The first couple of times I tried, I had severe panic attacks, but I was determined to push on. So for the next 2 years as I mentioned previously, I was determined every single day, every chance I can get to master my fear. And I believe by doing this process over and over and over, I have to a degree.
I still suffer from location based anxiety. Going to new places, staying in new towns and cities terrifies me, but that's something i've also been addressing and getting used to. Instead of fearing fear, i've learnt how to come to grips with it and accept it. I find the 2 things that triggered my anxiety were 2 symptoms that are over looked so often. Diet and sleep. Once I started cleaning my diet up and started sleeping a bit better (I still have trouble with). I found I was much more centered and grounded.
I also try and do about 30 mins of meditation every day. That to me, is the best natural medication you can use, and it's free!
