The definition of irregular heartbeat would be to have an arrythmia.. what kind of arrhythmia are you having? Or do you mean it is beating fast..or palpitations or missed beats. Irregular heartbeat is different from those...

So. The point of what I am saying is it sounds like you are just aware of your heart...and you have anxiety. But do explain further.

What is your pulse. Count it on your wrist for 15 seconds then multiply that by four then tell me what it is.

92 isn't bad when you're anxious. Normal range is 60-100 bpm.

Dexdy. Are you shallow breathing because you don't want to cough? If you are, that can increase your heart rate. Try an experiment. Put your finger on your pulse and breathe in slowly through your nose, and out through your mouth, slowly. Keep repeating that, slowly. Make sure they're deep breaths. While doing that see if your pulse rate slows a bit.

I hope I don't offend you but 92 ain't shit. And it isn't fast try 170. And guess what...when I'm 170 I still won't die. You are FINE . I won't deny that I understand that you feel nervous. But that is a normal heartrate.

Move on while you can, don't waste your life worrying about it. Please. You don't want to end up where some of us are. There is nothing wrong with you.

Sucks huh, I get them multiple times per month. That's why I know 92 is a heart rate I'd love to think was high.

Did they diagnose you with SVT too?

Yeah I was just admitted to the cardiac unit last night, but technically it's. Sinus tachycardia that I'm getting, not the svt where another pathway takes over. My highest was 170 I'd probably die at 240. Mentally anyways. Saw six doctors I'm just a mystery patient to them.

Yea it freaked me out bad, and set my anxiety to a new level I had to be rushed to the ER and given adenosine to slow my HR. I wore a heart monitor for a week and have had multiple EKGs. They pretty much acted like it was nothing. They gave me a beta blocker and told me to stay away from caffeine, alcohol and certain cold meds. It sucks and really freaks me out.

I'm having the same thing. 80-100 bpm ALL day, constantly. I'm also having heart palps. I did EKG 2 months ago too, nothing was wrong. Trust your doc if they say nothing is wrong.¨

Try "Control Pause Buteyko". Google it. If you're number is under 13, then you are hyperventilating.

I'm sorry but 80-100 is absolutely normal. My heart rate goes into the 160's! It just was in fact today. It could just be too much caffeine or maybe you're dehydrated.
