Hello all, I'm new to this but I guess I'll give you a little background... I've had severe anxiety since I was in 7th grade (I'm now 18 ). I had been able to control it for the most part until recently. My dad was in critical condition and thankfully he is okay now but I still have the anxiety. I'm beginning to get health anxiety once again. Back pain, nausea, headaches. You name it I have it. From constantly checking WebMD to numerous doctor visits, I'm pretty much a mess. I feel trapped in my own mind most times. I'm in need of all the support I can get right now.

Hi Bree,

Welcome! As Frankie said, we are a diverse bunch here, many who share your health anxiety issue.

Read back in the forum, recently we have had a few threads on health anxiety. If any strategies appeal to you, by all means ask questions.

We are here to help.

So my first thing for helping you.... And you probably know what I'm going to say.....
STOP visiting DR. GOOGLE and WebMD. They have nothing good for someone with an anxious mind. If you have health concerns, see your doctor!

Good luck!
