Can't remember who said this, but I love the phrase. I'd bet you dollars to donuts that the nausea is gone within 2-3 weeks.

Although, maybe I need a new phrase if you're not in a food mood :)

Sucking mints always helped me on start ups. Never nice though. Felt like motion sickness to me.

Try taking a simple antacid with this and a meal,..you have to take this with food. Hope that helps!

Thanks so much..I am on such a low dose..I am taking it in liquid form, so I am only on .5ml for 7 days, then move to 1ml etc..I am just so sensitive to meds..I have been taking a ativan in the morning, then taking the celexa around noon or so..Then I feel like I am going to puke (sorry) until later in the evening..I have some breakfast , then after that i just drink ginger tea..It will be worth it if I can leave my house again. It has been over 1 year ..I hope Celexa is a good one for anxiety/panic/fear 24/7..Prozac was not...What is the best time of day to take the celexa? So glad you guys are here, otherwise I really would be in the funny farm:)

I've thrown up (sorry!) on most SSRIs, and can't last more than a few days on them. It doesn't get better for me, but I react very strongly and therefore can't wait it out for long. Zoloft is the only one I've found that doesn't make me nauseous (though I'm not taking it now... didn't help a whole lot). Do you get motion sickness? My problem is that some of these meds make me dizzy, and then they affect me as if I've got motion sickness. It's possible something as simple as Dramamine might help with the nausea... not sure - just a thought! Good luck!

I used to take mine at lunch time. Just felt right that way?

How long do you think it will be before you settle, or are you unsure?
